Tribute to the Classics

Along with the arrival of the information age, more and more electronic network novels and soap operas appear on the stage, science fictions and romantic stories included, which just right suit modern teen-agers’ taste. They can get happiness from those novels without thinking, and relax their pressure from life and study. However, many modern works are similar to “fast foods”, which is believed as meaningless works, while classics are of great time consuming and energy spending.

Great classics become masterpieces in virtue of author’s real expression about the social status at that time. Classics are the representation of the outstanding art of the nation. Reading classics can broaden our horizons, increase knowledge and harvest the life philosophy. We should send tribute to the classics, given classics represent the power of Chinese culture in a certain degree.
